The proposed pool house is located within the generous backyard of a site anchored by an existing 1930s dwelling. The project forms part of a comprehensive backyard transformation, incorporating a new swimming pool and spa to create a cohesive outdoor living environment.
Designed with future adaptability in mind, the pool house adopts an open-plan layout complemented by a bathroom and bar area, allowing it to function both as an entertainment pavilion and a potential self-contained dwelling. The bar seamlessly opens onto a spacious verandah, strengthening the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces and enhancing its role as a social hub.
A simple, refined building form is expressed through white shiplap cladding, carefully selected to complement the character of the existing house while maintaining a contemporary identity. The result is a versatile and cohesive addition that supports both leisure and everyday living.
