James is deeply connected to the architectural landscapes of both New Zealand and Hong Kong. A graduate of University of Auckland - School of Architecture with First Class Honours, James spent over 17 years at a leading architectural practice in Hong Kong, gaining extensive experience in design, contract administration, and project management. A Registered Architect in Hong Kong since 2010, his leadership spans large-scale residential, commercial, and institutional developments across the public and private sectors in Hong Kong and China.

James has comprehensive experience across the full architectural process - from project inception to completion - with a portfolio that includes award-winning projects exemplifying design excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

Since returning to New Zealand in 2023, he has expanded his expertise to include bespoke residential and hospitality interiors, consent submission and construction detailing. As a Registered Architect in New Zealand, James continues to pursue his lifelong passion for architecture in the country where he grew up.
